Your new role:

As an Enrolled Nurse within Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, evidence-based and recovery-oriented care, working collaboratively under the guidance of Registered Nurses within a multidisciplinary mental health environment.

  • Provide person-centred addiction and mental health nursing care under direct and/or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse or Midwife
  • Apply clinical knowledge and skills within scope of practice to plan, deliver, document and evaluate patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, carers and the healthcare team to support coordinated, high-quality care
  • Contribute to quality, safety and continuous improvement initiatives while adapting to changing models of care

You are a compassionate and motivated Enrolled Nurse who is committed to recovery-focused mental health care and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver safe, respectful and evidence-based care within addiction and/or mental health settings
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under supervision and seek support appropriately
  • Commitment to professional development, lifelong learning and reflective practice
  • Understanding of quality, safety, infection control standards and contemporary clinical documentation systems
