About the role
In accordance with the Health Practitioners and Dental Officers (Queensland Health) Award, the RBWH Director of Pharmacy (“DOP”) operates at an executive management level and has significant managerial influence. The RBWH DOP strategically and operationally manages a large health practitioner and auxiliary workforce that provides a major complex service over multiple sites and models of care.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
- In line with established departmental priorities or according to emergent issues, co-ordinate and manage the workload priorities of the Director of Pharmacy (and Assistant Directors as required) through diary/correspondence management; tracking and prioritisation of projects or tasks; and coordination of management meetings, including minutes, agendas and follow up of action items;
- Within level of authority, display a high level of analysis, accuracy, and attention to detail to research or collect information, prepare quality written material and assist in preparing briefs, papers, or operational documents whilst taking professional responsibility for high quality, well-presented work;
