About us:
Cassowary Area Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is part of the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service (CHHHS) and provides mental health services from Fishery Falls in the north to Bilyana in the south, and west to Palmerston in the Tropical North Queensland.
About you:
In your new role you will:
- Provide high level clinical and professional leadership in partnership with the team leader and other clinicians with the Tablelands MHT to deliver a range of mental health services which is appropriate, acceptable and accessible to the Tablelands Hospital and Health Service.
- Provide a collaborative case management service, intake and referral role and acute care service to adults with identified mental health problems.
- Participate in clinical assessments, counselling and therapy in accordance with recognised principles of discipline specific practice and in conjunction with other members of the team.
