Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $111,198 to $119,071 p.a. (f/t) (Nurse Grade 6,Band 1)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • On-call and shift allowances (where applicable)
  • Plus great Salary Packaging options to increase take-home pay

About your opportunity

In this role you will work as part of a supportive team on a 30‑bed unit specialising in Orthopaedics, Gynaecology and Ophthalmology. Surgical Ward One's primary focus is orthopaedic nursing, caring for a broad range of trauma and elective surgical patients. You will provide person‑centred nursing care under both direct and indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse, in accordance with the Practice Standards identified by the Nursing and MIdwifery Board of Australia.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position and registration with AHPRA.
  • Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster.

Highly desirable

Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field. Such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus.
