We're excited to welcome an Enrolled Nurse to In-patient Unit 5BC.

The Enrolled Nurse (EN) provides person centred nursing care within a dynamic health environment based on the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia – Standard of Practice: Enrolled Nurse.

The EN practises under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)/Midwife (RM), assisting with the provision of care as delegated.

The Acute Medical Unit (AMU) is a 64 bed unit dedicated to providing patient centred, evidence based care through a multidisciplinary team based model to general medicine inpatients at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital.

Sunshine Coast Health is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
• Actively participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, workplace health and safety and ethical behaviour.
• Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
• Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Sunshine Coast Health Values.

Salary between $73 371 - $77 869 p.a. or $2812.30 - $3948.70 p.f. (f/t) or salary rates: $37.00 - $39.27 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 3) (Multiple Permanent and/or Fixed Term Temporary Full-time and/ or Part-time positions available, hours negotiable.).
