Your key responsibilities:
- Deliver high level scientific knowledge, skills and professional services.
- With demonstrated experience, apply independent scientific judgement to more complex problems and decision making, under the scientific supervision or professional guidance of more senior staff.
- Apply broad scientific knowledge, skills and experience in the analysis of patient specimens leading to the verification and validation of test results and the provision of advice to the clinical unit where appropriate.
Key competencies (role specific criteria)
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
- Perform duties with a high degree of independence and with infrequent scientific supervision.
- Demonstrated knowledge, expertise and skill in the delivery of scientific judgement within a multidiscipline laboratory.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in a multidisciplinary team and contribute a range of diagnostic skills relevant to the discipline.
