Metro South Health is seeking an experienced Staff Specialist or Senior Staff Specialist - Gastroenterology to join the Department of Gastroenterology within the Surgery and Critical Care Service Line at Logan Hospital. This permanent part-time opportunity (0.75 FTE, negotiable) commences May 2026 and provides high-quality inpatient, outpatient and procedural gastroenterology services across Logan and Beaudesert Health Service, within a dynamic and growing health network.

Your new role:
In this specialist position, you will deliver expert gastroenterology care while contributing to service leadership, education and quality improvement.
- Provide high-level inpatient, outpatient and endoscopy services across multiple sites
- Participate in multidisciplinary care, clinical governance and quality improvement activities
- Contribute to service development, research and patient safety initiatives
About you:
You are a motivated Gastroenterologist with strong clinical expertise and a commitment to collaborative, patient-centred care.
- Demonstrated experience in endoscopy, with IBD and/or interventional endoscopy desirable
- Proven ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and provide clinical leadership
- Commitment to education, research, continuous improvement and high-quality patient outcomes
