Metro South Health is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist (HP4) to join the Physiotherapy Department at QEII Jubilee Hospital on a permanent full-time basis. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, evidence-based inpatient physiotherapy services while providing clinical leadership, supervision and contributing to service development and quality improvement within a large, multidisciplinary hospital environment.

Your new role:
As a Senior Physiotherapist within QEII Jubilee Hospital, you will deliver advanced inpatient physiotherapy services across a range of clinical streams, including acute, geriatric, stroke, orthopaedic and medical settings. You will act as a clinical reference point for the team, applying advanced clinical judgement to complex presentations while supporting service development, education and supervision.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering specialist inpatient physiotherapy assessment, intervention and evaluation
- Managing a complex caseload with a high degree of clinical autonomy
- Acting as a clinical reference point for the inpatient physiotherapy team
- Applying evidence-based practice to complex decision-making and care planning
About you:
You are an experienced physiotherapist with strong clinical capability in inpatient settings and a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. You bring leadership capability, advanced clinical reasoning and a collaborative approach to working within multidisciplinary teams.
You will bring:
- Registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex inpatient physiotherapy services
- Strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills
- Experience providing supervision, education or support to junior clinicians
- High-level communication and stakeholder engagement skills

The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital (QEII) is a medium metropolitan adult facility providing a range of inpatient and outpatient services including a 24-hour Emergency Department. We provide a range of services, including surgery, cardiology, endoscopy, orthopaedics, gynaecology, urology, geriatric, respiratory and emergency medicine.
We're making our hospital bigger and better to make it easier for our growing community to get the health care they need. We'll have more beds, medical wards and expanded intensive care and emergency services planned to be opened by 2027.
