Your new role:
As the Administration Officer within the Renal Dialysis Unit, you will support clinical teams and coordinate patient services by:
- Coordinate reception and renal outpatient clinic appointments using ieMR
- Complete patient registrations, admissions, discharges and transfers in HBCIS
- Provide frontline reception support, managing enquiries and calls efficiently
- Conduct patient interviews and complete the Patient Election Form (PEF) process
- Perform medical transcription and prepare correspondence and patient materials
- Process requisitions and reservations using the S4Hana system
- Support nurses and medical staff with administrative duties
About you:
You will be a proactive, organised administration professional thriving in a healthcare environment, with:
- Strong administrative and office procedure skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with diverse audiences
- Proven at building effective relationships with patients, clinicians and stakeholders
- Skilled in word processing, data entry, reporting, and high-accuracy typing (70 wpm)
- Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgement
- Committed to confidentiality, quality standards and continuous improvement
- Medical Terminology qualification (desirable)
