An exciting opportunity exists for a Clinical Measurement Scientist – Advanced (Respiratory & Sleep), to deliver clinical leadership and advanced level Sleep and Respiratory clinical measurement services, involving complex caseloads, in accordance with contemporary clinical, professional and ethical standards, to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health, in accordance with the goals, policies and requirements of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS).
The Respiratory and Sleep laboratories are based at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, with staff working across both disciplines and providing services at multiple sites within the health service area.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Demonstrated ability to deliver a specialist level of clinical skill in one or more areas of a complex or critical nature with the ability to independently apply specialist and novel judgement to meet the needs of patients across the continuum of care.
- Provide high-level clinical support and advice to staff within the multidisciplinary team (MDT) with the management and problem solving regarding clinically complex patients.
- Provide high-level clinical advice within area of expertise to clinicians, professional and operational teams, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding professional standards, service initiatives, service needs and clinical service development.
Remuneration value up to $14,384 p.m., comprising salary between $5557.50 - $5798.90p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5) (Fixed Term Temporary Full Time 76hrs/fortnight to January 2027).
