We're excited to welcome a Dietitian Advanced to our Nutrition and Dietetics team.

The Dietitian Advanced will deliver expert clinical services to stakeholders/customers of the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service and Queensland Health, across a multidisciplinary team and at the service level. The Dietitian Advanced provides clinical leadership to a team of Dietitians across facilities and forms part of the Nutrition and Dietetics leadership team.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver an advanced level of clinical skill in one or more areas of a complex nature with the ability to independently apply specialist and novel judgement to meet the needs of patients across the continuum of care.
  • Provide high-level clinical support and advice to staff within the multidisciplinary team (MDT) with the management and problem solving regarding clinically complex patients.
  • Possess advanced clinical leadership abilities and facilitates the integration of services across specialties within a clinical area to coordinate the delivery of effective dietitian services across the SCHHS.
  • Provide high-level clinical advice within area of expertise to clinicians, professional and operational teams, relevant service managers and other stakeholders regarding professional standards, service initiatives, service needs and clinical service development.

Remuneration based pro rata on equivalent full time value up to $172,615 p.a., comprising salary rates: $73.12 - $76.30 p.h. employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP5) (Fixed term temporary flexible part time position, 60.8 hrs p.f. for 6 months with possible extension).
