Your new role:
As Nurse Manager – Surgical Clinical Reviewer (NG7) within Surgery and Critical Care Services at Metro South Health, you will practise at an advanced level to drive high-quality, cost-effective surgical care across Logan Hospital.
You will be responsible for the accurate collection, analysis and submission of data to the American College of Surgeons National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (ACS NSQIP), translating findings into actionable improvement strategies. Working closely with the Nursing Director and senior medical leaders, you will influence governance, benchmarking and service redesign across multiple surgical specialties.
In this role, you will:
- Lead ACS NSQIP data collection, validation and reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Analyse surgical outcomes data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities
- Drive quality, audit, benchmarking and accreditation initiatives across SaCC
- Provide advanced clinical leadership supporting governance, safety and system improvement
About you:
You are an experienced senior nurse leader who combines clinical credibility with analytical capability and strategic thinking.
You will bring:
- Current NMBA registration as a Registered Nurse with advanced surgical experience
- Demonstrated expertise in quality improvement, audit and data analysis
- Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and change management capability
- High-level critical thinking and ability to work across complex multidisciplinary systems
