About the opportunity
This role will be responsible for effective coordination and implementation of the technical requirements of the project. Working with the Project Team and under the direction of the Project Manager this position will provide technical support to end users of the ieMR. This role will be required to travel to Aged Care Facilities as well as providing end user support on site during the Go Live period.
PLEASE NOTE - This is a temporary full-time role, commencing 29/06/2026 - 29/11/2026, with a possibility of an extension, dependant on project funding.

- Salary range: $4167.80 - $4534.70 p.f. (AO5)
- 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% loading

Requirements:
- Whilst not mandatory, a relevant qualification in the following would be well regarded;
- Microsoft (MCP/MCTS, MCSA, MCSE, etc)
- Novell (NCA, NCE, etc)
- Citrix (CCA, CCP, etc)
- Drivers Licence: This position requires the incumbent to operate a class ‘C' motor vehicle to meet operational When driving Queensland Health vehicles, possession of a relevant driver's license is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided to the employing service prior to the commencement of duty.
- Aged Care Pre-Employment Screening: Applicants are advised this position works in an identified Aged Care Facility as per the Aged Care Act 1997 and therefore requires employees and volunteers to have a current National Police Certificate. Queensland Health will facilitate applicants obtaining the above National Police Certificate.
- Travel: Travel by light aircraft may be required from Townsville to Palm Island and return.
- Travel: Please note, from time-to-time this position will be required to travel to, and work at, other facilities located within the Rural Hospitals Service Group network to participate in meetings for planning, quality, performance, training and education, or clinical activities. This may involve day and/or overnight stays. Travel on small planes or ferry may be required. The successful applicant/s will need to be able to commit to this requirement.
