We're excited to welcome a Senior Procurement Officer to our Contracts and Procurement Management (CPM) team.
The Senior Procurement Officer is responsible for working with stakeholders to coordinate and manage the planning and delivery of end-to-end procurement activities in Sunshine Coast Health including contract administration and procurement governance activities.
CPM provides strategic procurement advice and undertakes procurement initiatives for Sunshine Coast Health with a focus on the delivery of value for money outcomes that embrace innovation and ensuring efficient and effective use of Sunshine Coast Health resources, contract management and engagement with stakeholders and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Undertake strategic, complex and/or sensitive end to end procurement processes, developing understanding of supply markets through research, market analysis and early supplier engagement to inform forward procurement planning and sourcing decisions.
- Conduct sourcing activities in accordance with established policies and procedures to meet business needs and participate in negotiations to establish and review supply arrangements that will deliver value for money procurement outcomes.
- Ensure procurement processes comply with Queensland Health governance requirements and the Queensland Procurement Policy and identify and implement continuous improvement strategies that optimise procurement efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop contract management plans, resolve issues, monitor performance and negotiate contract variations through effective supplier relationships which drive continuous improvement, maximise contract value and enhance business outcomes.
Remuneration value up to $152 772 p.a, comprising salary between $125 002 - $133 898 p.a, employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO6).
