We're excited to welcome an Enrolled Nurse Advanced Skills (ENAS) to our inpatient Unit 4FW.
The ENAS complements the role of the Registered Nurse and works collaboratively and autonomously within the scope of practice and delegation guidelines. Provide specialised advanced nursing care following competency standards.
Inpatient Unit (IPU) Gen Med 4FW is a multidisciplinary service that manages a cohort of patients that are mostly aged 65 years or older with significant comorbidities, who present with a range of issues and diagnoses that are appropriate for a general medical admission.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Understand your broad responsibilities for safety and quality in healthcare, actively participate in continuous quality and safety improvement activities within the workplace and notify a relevant clinical or non-clinical responsible officer when concerns exist about workplace or patient safety.
- Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
- This position requires you to adhere to National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and the Sunshine Coast Health Safe Care Framework, which has been developed in collaboration with staff, consumers and key stakeholders to enable our vision of health and wellbeing through person-centred care.
- Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Sunshine Coast Health Values.
Salary rates: $40.43 - $42.90 p.h., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (Nurse Grade 4) (Permanent Part-Time position available, 60 hrs p.f.)
