About us:

CQMHAODS is the go-to team for specialist mental health, alcohol and other drug care across Central Queensland—supporting communities in Rockhampton, Capricorn Coast, Gladstone, Central Highlands and Banana—a catchment of more than 250,000 people.

Rockhampton is the hub of the action, home to the acute adult inpatient unit and where the Mental Health Act 2016 is administered. Gladstone adds extra muscle with an Adult Step Up Step Down facility, while Rockhampton also hosts an Adult Community Care Unit.

The Adult Community Services Team, based in Rockhampton and the Capricorn Coast, takes care beyond hospital walls—supporting adults with complex mental illness in clinics, the community and at home. From assessment and case management to therapy, support and referrals, the team works closely with inpatient services, acute care teams, GPs and community partners to reduce symptoms, support recovery and help people get back to living their lives.

About the role:

Working as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, you'll provide discipline-specific case management, while also supporting carers and families along the way.

You'll be the connector and advocate, teaming up with GPs, Non-Government Organisations and internal CQHHS stakeholders to make sure consumers get the right care, at the right time. In short: expert care, strong teamwork, and plenty of impact where it really matters.

About you:

You're qualified, registered and ready to go—holding current registration in Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Social Work or as a Registered Nurse. One profession, lots of impact.
