Your new role:
Reporting within a complex healthcare setting, you will lead a team of HR practitioners to deliver high-quality, compliant and contemporary Human Resources services across MSAMHS.
- Lead and coordinate Human Resources, industrial/employee relations and injury management services, ensuring compliance with Queensland Health policy and relevant legislation.
- Manage complex casework including industrial matters, disputes, performance management, investigations, WorkCover claims, injury management and workplace rehabilitation.
- Provide expert interpretation and advice on legislation, awards and policy, while driving continuous improvement across HR systems, procedures and workforce practices.
About you:
You are a confident and credible HR leader with strong technical expertise and the ability to influence in complex and sensitive environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading HR teams within large, regulated organisations — ideally within the public sector or healthcare.
- Extensive knowledge of industrial relations, employment legislation, workplace health and safety, and Queensland Public Sector frameworks.
- Proven capability managing complex investigations, performance matters and injury management cases with sound judgement and discretion.
