Metro South Health is seeking experienced Clinical Nurse Consultants (Nurse Grade 7) to join Cancer Care and Day Therapy Services at Logan Hospital. These permanent full-time leadership roles provide advanced clinical expertise and consultancy in Oncology, Haematology and Medical Day Therapies. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, you will lead the delivery of safe, person-centred care while driving quality improvement and service innovation across the care continuum.

Your new role:

In this advanced leadership role, you will provide expert clinical consultancy and drive excellence in cancer and day therapy nursing practice.

• Deliver advanced clinical leadership in Oncology, Haematology and Day Therapy services
• Provide direct and indirect patient care while coordinating multidisciplinary care delivery
• Lead quality improvement, education and evidence-based practice initiatives

About you:

You are an experienced Registered Nurse with advanced specialist knowledge in Oncology/Haematology nursing and a passion for clinical leadership and service improvement.

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with advanced oncology expertise
• Demonstrated clinical leadership and ability to influence safe, high-quality care
• Strong communication, collaboration and service improvement capabilities

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
