About the role
You will help ensure the smooth, safe and effective delivery of services across the Mornington Island Health Service. Working closely with the Director of Nursing and the operational services team, you will contribute to patient safety, service quality and a culturally responsive care environment.
- Provide high quality operational and domestic support.
- Be an active participant in quality activities and ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner.
- Provide the Director of Nursing with documentation of faulty equipment, maintenance requests and potential occupational health and safety risks in a timely manner.

Requirements
- Non-mandatory requirements/qualifications, however a relevant qualification and/or experience would be well regarded.
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
- A period of probation may apply.

Mornington Island and Doomadgee communities have an alcohol management strategy that applies to all residents and visitors. No private individual is permitted to take alcohol into the Mornington Island or Doomadgee communities.
