About us:
The Executive Services team is responsible for providing high level, quality, professional and confidential executive and administrative services to the Office of the Health Service Chief Executive and members of the Executive Management Team to support the achievement of Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service's (CQHHS's) vision to deliver Great Care for Central Queenslanders.
About the role:
The Executive Support Officer (ESO) provides high quality, effective, efficient, professional and confidential executive and administrative support to the Executive Director and other members of the Executive Management Team (as required). The Executive Director Clinical Governance, Quality and Safety is physically located in the Administration Building on Rockhampton Hospital Campus.
- Manage and organise all aspects of the office of the relevant Executive Director/Executive Officer through the provision of efficient, effective and confidential executive and administrative support services.
- Coordinate and manage the workload priorities and commitments of the Executive Director/Officer, through diary and correspondence management, including appropriate tracking and monitoring of deadlines.
- Develop and maintain databases, systems and processes to enhance the organisation effectiveness for the management of correspondence, records and resources.
About you:
- While not mandatory, a relevant qualification would be well regarded.
- Proven ability and experience in managing and prioritising the commitments and associated activities for Executive level staff, including the ability to initiate, determine and follow up work within mandated and tight timeframes.
- Advanced knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in contemporary computer software applications, including Microsoft Office and Outlook and other information technology applications.
- Demonstrated high level interpersonal and written communication skills that reflect the ability to liaise effectively, diplomatically and discretely at all levels of the organisation and with other government and non-government agencies, organisations and members of the public.
- Proven ability to work within a team in a diverse and complex environment to achieve objectives within specified timeframes and in accordance with defined practices and procedures/guidelines.
What we offer:
Total monthly remuneration value of up to $9,800 p.m. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $47.18 - $51.98 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
