What's on offer?
Fixed Term Temporary Full-time or Part-time, hours negotiable (Various contract durations).

Speech Pathologist
Pro rata remuneration package based on full-time equivalent value of up to $132,567 p.a. (+ applicable allowances/benefits) comprising salary range of $3030.00 - $4453.50 p.f. (full-time) or $39.86 - $58.59 p.h. (part-time) (HP3).

Speech Pathologist - Senior
Pro rata remuneration package based on full-time equivalent value of up to $157,360 p.a. (+ applicable allowances/benefits) comprising salary range of $4912.70 - $5286.40 p.f. (full-time) or $64.64 - $69.55 p.h. (part-time) (HP4)

Additional employment benefits (HP3 and HP4)

  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available

Speech Pathologists
Deliver speech pathology clinical services for the Speech Pathology Department as a member of multidisciplinary teams in the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health.

Speech Pathologists - Senior
Deliver high level speech pathology clinical services and leadership in an area of cancer care, medical and rehabilitation, surgical, and/or paediatrics for the Speech Pathology Department and Townsville Hospital multidisciplinary teams to stakeholders/customers of Queensland Health.

Role requirements (HP3 and HP4)

  • The successful applicants must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Speech Therapy/Pathology providing eligibility for practicing membership to Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Certified Practicing Speech Pathology Status with Speech Pathology Australia is desirable.
