- Base salary range: $103.80 - $131.61 p.h. (L18-L27)

About your opportunity
Townsville is the tertiary referral centre for Northern Queensland. The Townsville Renal Unit is expanding its services, including the development of a dedicated home therapies unit.
This full-time nephrology position is based in Townsville and is responsible for providing comprehensive renal services, including dialysis, outpatient care, inpatient consultations, and telehealth support. The role involves close liaison within the renal team to ensure coordinated and high-quality care across all service areas.
The Staff Specialist is expected to deliver high-quality clinical and non-clinical services that benefit the patients and clients of the Townsville HHS. This includes contributing to research activities and teaching future health professionals.
The role also involves leading and managing the provision of medical services in accordance with specialty standards, professional ethics, and Townsville HHS and Queensland Health policies, within both hospital and community settings.
Requirements
The successful candidate must hold specialist registration (or be eligible to hold) with AHPRA. Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP).
