We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $79,051 to $116,189 p.a. (HP3)
  • 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • On-call and shift allowances (where applicable)

About your opportunity

As a rotational Occupational Therapist, you will deliver clinical services within a multidisciplinary team across a variety of caseloads, including Medical, Surgical, Palliative Care, Oncology, Paediatrics, Rehabilitation, Community Rehabilitation and Pain Management.

You will work in a supportive and friendly department where autonomy and innovation are valued, and ongoing learning and professional development are encouraged. As part of a tertiary teaching hospital with strong links to James Cook University, you will have access to academic resources and potential research collaborations to support your professional growth.

Requirements:

  • The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in Occupational Therapy, and current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
  • This position is required to work on weekends and public holidays on a rostered basis through the Department's Weekend Service.
