About the Team
The Evolve Therapeutic Service provides mental health services to children and young people 0-18 years involved with child safety services, on child protection orders and in out-of-home care, who have severe and/or complex mental health needs. The service delivers clinical and coordinated support to children and young people including their stakeholder network to improve their mental health and wellbeing. The Queensland ETS program is an external third party funded program under a Memorandum of Understanding between Queensland Health and the Department of Child Safety, Seniors and Disability Services.
About the Role
In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include:
- Provide a high level of quality administration services within a clinical area, incorporating excellent organisational skills to establish priorities and ensure deadlines are met.
- Deliver high-quality reception services—managing front desk, telephone, and email enquiries—in a calm, kind, and respectful manner, ensuring all clients, including young people and families with complex backgrounds, are welcomed and supported with sensitivity, care, and professionalism.
- Liaise and effectively communicate (both written and verbal) directly with members of the public, external organisations, personnel at all levels, disciplines and senior officials in the dissemination of information and decisions with tact, diplomacy, respect and in a professional manner.
- Support data entry into the mental health database (CIMHA) and act as a senior point of contact in providing super user knowledge and support within the team regarding CIMHA.
- Maintain and cleanse the CIMHA data to ensure currency and quality and support clinical staff to adhere to data entry guidelines.
