What you'll do
- Additional In collaboration with members of the team, provide technical leadership and skills to design, develop and deploy data insights.
- Liaise with customers to investigate data and information needs, providing expert advice and guidance which aligns to best practice.
- Design, develop, deliver and maintain reports, dashboards, insights, and visualisation assets as required for the service.
- Provide expert ad-hoc data analysis services utilising large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets with a variety of analytic tools.
- Working with the members of the team continually monitor and tune assets to meet service level requirements.
- Contribute to the management, maintenance, and development of data collection systems to meet the needs of the service.
- Provide guidance and review of data products to ensure quality and compliance with architectural and governance requirements.
- Manage and contribute to the development, publication, implementation and compliance to technical policies, standards and procedures at an enterprise level.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- Ability to acquire knowledge of information management policies, standards and practice and their contribution to health service delivery.
- Demonstrated ability in developing and promoting ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / test / change and configuration management (SFIA: USUP Level 4, PBMG Level 4, CHMG Level 4, CFMG Level 3, TEST Level 4)
- Understanding of the theory and application of key visual design principles.
- Demonstrated expertise and technical skills in one or more of the following:
- Data visualisation tools, such as: Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence, D3.js, R packages, Tableau, Power BI, SAP Hana, and Qlik
- Data manipulation tools, such as: SQL, R, Python and Alteryx)
- Databases, such as MS SQL, Oracle, SAP HANA - Well-developed interpersonal, written and oral communication skills including the ability to negotiate, advise, influence others and work collaboratively with people to make decisions. (NHS: Effective and strategic influencing)
- Well-developed ability to build and maintain appropriate relationships with team members, other technical domain specialists, application specialists and end users. (NHS: Collaborative Working)
