Join the Coorparoo Community Care Unit as an Enrolled Nurse (NG3) in this permanent full-time opportunity with Metro South Addiction and Mental Health Services. Your new role:

In this role you will provide person-centred nursing care within a community residential mental health setting, supporting consumers to build independence and transition successfully to community living.

  • Deliver direct nursing care and monitoring for residents within the CCU
  • Support consumers with recovery, daily living skills and wellbeing
  • Conduct observations, mental state assessments and risk monitoring
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support recovery outcomes
  • Assist with medication coordination and health care planning

 

About you:

You are a compassionate and motivated Enrolled Nurse who is passionate about supporting people experiencing mental illness to achieve recovery and independence.

  • Current NMBA registration as an Enrolled Nurse with medication endorsement
  • Interest or experience in mental health or community care environments
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills within multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to work autonomously while delivering safe, person-centred care
  • Commitment to recovery-focused practice and continuous improvement
