Join Our Perioperative Nursing Team

Metro South Health is seeking compassionate and motivated Registered Nurses to join the Peri-Operative Department at Logan Hospital. These permanent and temporary part-time Nurse Grade 5 roles provide high-quality clinical care across perioperative services including pre-operative care, anaesthetics, theatre and the Post Anaesthetic Care Unit, supporting patients through their surgical journey within a collaborative multidisciplinary team

Your new role:

In this role you will deliver safe, person-centred perioperative nursing care while contributing to a high-performing clinical team.

• Provide safe, compassionate perioperative care across theatre services
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to support surgical care
• Contribute to quality improvement, education and evidence-based practice

About you:

You are a dedicated Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering safe and high-quality patient care.

• Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
• Demonstrated clinical knowledge or interest in perioperative nursing practice
• Strong teamwork, communication and critical thinking skills

Logan Hospital:

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.

Our services will continue to grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By 2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
