Your new role:
As an Enrolled Nurse in Ward 6A Medical, you will support the delivery of safe, compassionate and evidence-based patient care while working collaboratively with Registered Nurses and the wider healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes by:
- Providing person-centred nursing care to patients in a 32-bed acute general medical ward
- Supporting Registered Nurses in the planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care
- Communicating effectively with patients, families and the multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Monitoring patient progress and accurately documenting care within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
- Maintaining high standards of infection control, safety and quality improvement practices
- Contributing to a positive team culture and supporting less experienced staff and Assistants in Nursing
- Participating in continuous learning, education and evidence-based practice initiatives
About you:
You are a compassionate and motivated Enrolled Nurse who enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment and delivering high-quality patient care with:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) as an Enrolled Nurse
- Demonstrated ability to provide safe, patient-centred nursing care within scope of practice
- Strong communication and teamwork skills when working with multidisciplinary teams
- A commitment to quality improvement, safety standards and evidence-based practice
- Ability to prioritise workload, adapt to changing clinical environments and seek guidance when required
- A proactive approach to professional development and continuous learning

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
