About the work unit / facility
Eventide Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) provides a multidisciplinary approach to care delivery with a focus on resident's rights and choices. Residents (as able), relatives, carers and other health professionals are involved in the individual care planning process and encouraged to play an active role in the decision-making process. With the introduction of the aged care nursing ratios, all nursing staff will work together to provide resident focused quality nursing care that meets the aged care quality standards and will assist in the provision of leisure and recreational activities and interactions.

- Salary range: $42.74 to $46.80 p.h. (Nurse Grade 1, Band 1)
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation

About your opportunity
The Assistant in Nursing is responsible for providing nursing care in a professional, safe and compassionate manner as a member of Eventide team. The Assistant in Nursing works under the direction of the of the Registered Nurse and this may be overseen by an Enrolled Nurse to assist in achieving service goals.
Highly desirable
- Hold a relevant Certificate III in Aged Care, Health Service Assistant or equivalent, or
- Successful completion of the first semester full-time equivalent Diploma of Nursing course including all theoretical and clinical competencies, or
- Successful completion of the first year full-time equivalent undergraduate Bachelor of Nursing course including all theoretical and clinical competencies.
