- Salary range: $68.86 to $74.76 p.h (Nurse Grade 7)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
About your opportunity
The role of the Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC)/Forensic Nurse Examiner (FNE) at the Townsville University Hospital Clinical Forensic Medicine Unit (CFMU) is to coordinate, manage and deliver a forensic service to victims and perpetrators of crime in line with best practice.
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- Qualification: Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
- Nursing: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
- Highly Desirable: Possession of or working towards a relevant postgraduate qualification in forensic nursing is required. Such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus
- Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on call roster.
