What you'll do
- Pro-actively enable informed decision making and development of solutions on business issues by providing timely and relevant written submissions, briefs, presentations and information papers for stakeholders as they arise.
- Assist management in the decision-making process and assessment of the impact of system change by preparing clinical impact statements, technical reports, specifications, trends analyses, etc. and participate in the controlled change approval process in accordance with business and clinical workflow requirements in consultation with users and stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain quality records for planned system changes, system related assets and monthly system performance reporting.
- Provide timely advice to stakeholders during cardiovascular informatics system service disruption incidents (unplanned downtime) and support essential communication to assist with workload management and resolution activity.
- Participate in troubleshooting system errors by applying expert knowledge of system operation and clinical workflows in a cardiology department.
- Provide systems integration support for the end to end cardiovascular imaging solutions.
- Provide expertise and leadership to ensure that the functions of the Queensland Imaging Informatics Support Unit operate consistently and effectively enabling strategic objectives, regulatory and legislative obligations to be met.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- Demonstrated ability in developing and promoting ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / test / change and configuration management (SFIA: USUP 4; PBMG 4; CHMG 4; CFMG 3; TEST 3)
- Demonstrated ability in the provision of high-level specialist advice on, and support for, clinical enterprise applications. (SFIA: TECH Level 4)
- Knowledge and understanding of the operation of cardiology informatics and electronic medical record systems and associated clinical workflows. (SFIA: CFMG 4, CSMG 3, ITMG 3; UNAN 4).
- Demonstrated ability to ensure that service delivery meets agreed service levels in a customer focused ICT / Clinical Business environment (SFIA: SLMO 4; ASUP 5; USUP 4)
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with HHS management and user groups when implementing new or changed systems and during the development and operationalisation of improved workflows. (SFIA: ASUP 5; USUP 4)
