Your opportunity
The Nursing Director Child and Family is responsible for providing expert child and family health leadership, innovation and excellence in the continuum of care through management and strategic alignment of child and family services across the South West Hospital and Health Service. The Nursing Director will be responsible for driving community-based services and implementing evidence driven models of care across the continuum for children and families in conjunction with other leaders in the South West HHS.
This role will support implementation of key initiatives as part of Putting Queensland Kids First funding which include:
- Co-design with and support other leaders to implement Sustained Home Visiting.
- Targeted initiatives and improvements that support the delivery of equitable and integrated health care through collaboration and co-design.
- Advocacy of child and family health services locally and state-wide.
- Networking with other leaders at a local and state-wide level to support consistency of practice.
- Provide professional, expert advice to relevant health professionals to deliver contemporary, high quality, evidence based child and family health.
