We're excited to welcome a Trade Assistant to our Building Engineering Maintenance Services (BEMS), Operations and Trades team.

Provide services in the relocation of furniture fittings and equipment (FF&E) in business-as-usual circumstances and in preparing areas for capital works and decanting functional areas from an old locality to a new one. Support trade qualified maintenance staff with minor but technical building and maintenance activities and carry out a range of semi-skilled and unskilled duties in support of the Department's technical function.
Key Responsibilties include:
- Perform relocation of FF&E duties as part of a multi skilled pool of labour and participate in training to enhance skill levels to support the team.
- Provide assistance as requested to the Capital Assets and Infrastructure portfolio within Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS).
- Support trades staff with daily housekeeping, hands on minor repairs and refurbishment tasks within the skills level of the position.
- Work autonomously and/or in a team environment under direct supervision.
Salary of $2429.20 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HBEA13). Applications will remain current for the duration of the vacancy.
