The North Queensland Cancer Services have a temporary full-time vacancy for an experienced and attention to detail driven Business and Data Support Officer - OMIS. This vacancy commences 16/03/2026 - 16/06/2026, with a possibility of an additional 12 months extension.

Ideally seeking applicant with experience using MOSAIQ and/or another Oncology Information Management System.

About your opportunity

To provide business support for the Oncology Information Management System (OIMS) – MOSAIQ™ to North Queensland, Central Queensland and Wide Bay Hospital and Health Services.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a temporary full-time, commencing 16/03/2026 - 16/06/2026.  There is a possiblity of an additional 12 months extension. 

 

The ideal applicant will be someone who has proven ability and can demonstrate the following:

  • Experience using MOSAIQ and/or another Oncology Information Management System.
  • Demonstrable skills in writing electronic reports, preferably using Crystal Reports, with database-sourced data.
  • Understanding of relational database management systems, and how data is structured in such a system.
  • Skills in delivering education to staff at varying levels, including administrative and clinical staff.
  • Good documentation skills, with experience in using Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Capability to work autonomously with good planning and ability to meet deadlines and maintain high quality deliverables.

Competitive salary and benefits:

We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.

  • Salary range: $3586.00 to $3586.00 p.f. (AO4)
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
  • 4  weeks annual leave (pro rata) with 17.5% loading
  • Locality allowance
  • Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available


Requirements:

  • Highly Desirable: Experience using MOSAIQ and/or another Oncology Information Management System.
