The Process 

This Expression of Interest collects a variety of information that will help identify potentially suitable applicants for future casual employment opportunities. As a Patient Administration Officer, you will play an important role in supporting patient care by providing efficient administrative and customer service support within the hospital. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly and professional front counter, phone and email support to patients, visitors and staff
  • Maintain accurate patient demographic and admission information within hospital systems
  • Assist with patient interviews and completion of Patient Election Forms (PEF)
  • Coordinate patient appointments, procedures, cancellations and waiting lists

About you:

You are a highly organised and customer-focused administrator who enjoys helping people and working as part of a collaborative healthcare team. 

  • Strong customer service experience, ideally in healthcare or administration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and documentation
