• The position of Director Community Mental Health Services/ Director Mental health Allied Health Services is responsible for the strategic management and operational leadership across Community and Acute Services within Mental Health, Addictions, Custodial Health and Statewide Services (MHACHSS). Clinical leadership is provided in conjunction within the Clinical Director.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

• Demonstrated ability to apply leadership principles which encourage self-awareness, innovative thinking and motivation in others to perform at expected levels within a complex health service environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency to work effectively within a leadership team to meet the demands of complex healthcare environments with the commitment and ability to link strategy to operational goals.
• Demonstrated expert knowledge and skills in contemporary mental health service delivery and clinical practice standards.
• Demonstrated expert knowledge of contemporary Allied Health practices and ability to provide professional Allied Health leadership and advocacy across disciplines in MHACHSS division.
• Demonstrated strategic level leadership skills and management practices both professionally and operationally.
• Demonstrated high level organisational and resource management skills to achieve productivity targets and high-quality consumer outcomes within a multi professional mental health service.

Mandatory Requirements:

• Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
