What your day could look like
You'll play a vital role in strengthening care for older people across acute, emergency and transition‑of‑care environments. From guiding clinical decisions to supporting seamless, coordinated care, you'll help deliver outcomes that genuinely uplift patients, families and our broader community.
Every day, you'll contribute by:
- Leading evidence‑based nursing practice that improves safety, wellbeing and recovery for older patients
- Guiding and supporting colleagues through complex clinical decisions to achieve consistent, person‑centred care
- Driving quality improvements that strengthen care pathways and enhance service delivery
- Sharing clinical insight and ideas that foster collaboration, innovation and better patient experiences
Let's talk about you!
You're someone who blends confidence with compassion, bringing steadiness and sound judgment to fast‑paced clinical environments. You build trust quickly, communicate with clarity, and approach every challenge with dignity and integrity. You take pride in improving patient journeys, especially for those most vulnerable, and you find purpose in supporting teams to work at their best.
Here's what will help you thrive in this role:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with relevant clinical experience in acute or emergency care
- Advanced decision‑making, assessment and care‑coordination capability
- Strong communication, leadership and teamwork skills, with a commitment to safe, high‑quality care
- Ability to adapt, think critically and support change with confidence
You'll stand out if you have experience in geriatric care, care transition models, or postgraduate studies in a relevant specialty.
Most importantly, you bring heart to your practice- driven by compassion, guided by integrity, and motivated by meaningful impact for patients, families and your team. In this role, you'll help shape safer care today and contribute to a stronger, more connected service for tomorrow.
