What you'll do
- Provide leadership in the enterprise image transfer service for the cardiovascular imaging solutions.
- Management of the CVIS DICOM integration, including Enterprise Image Transfer Service.
- Establish and apply a systematic approach to operational support for the enterprise image transfer service to support the enterprise CVIS application.
- Provide input to planned system changes for upgrades and patches of the enterprise image transfer service or enterprise CVIS, assisting in the extraction of information from the CVIS, and undertaking information system functionality test case preparation, execution and reporting and system documentation in conjunction with the relevant HHS stakeholders and eHealth Queensland departments.
- Provide leadership and expert knowledge to the enhancement of the enterprise cardiovascular information systems and development of new information systems by providing specialist expertise and expert cardiovascular workflow analysis and design advice to Queensland Health service providers, system developers and vendors.
- Manage special projects particularly in the area of quality control as directed by the Manager, CVIS.
About you
We are searching for someone who has:
- Well-developed conceptual, analytical, research and problem-solving skills and ability to develop and promote ITIL Service Management processes primarily incident / problem / change / release / configuration / integration management. (SFIA: USUP 4; PBMG 5; CHMG 5, RELM 5, CFMG 5).
- Demonstrated well-developed skills and experience in managing clinical applications and its integration with business requirements, technical environments and quality control in a large and complex service delivery environment. (SFIA BUSA 4; ASUP 5; ETMG 4; UNAN 4; QUMG 4)
- Demonstrated highly developed clinical knowledge and understanding of cardiovascular workflows, informatics technologies and digital image management and their impact upon clinical service delivery. (SFIA: UNAN 4; TECH 4; REQM 5; CNSL 4)
- Demonstrated ability to provide clinical informatics advice and authoritative counsel to relevant stakeholders at all levels regarding the importance of and impact of system integration and messaging to clinical service development and professional standards.(SFIA: CNSL 4; BUSA 5; UNAN 4)
- Demonstrated ability to manage diverse activities and priorities across organisational boundaries to ensure that service delivery meets agreed service levels in a customer focused ICT environment. (add SFIA: SLMO Level 5)
