Your new role:
This Expression of Interest (EOI) collects a variety of information that will help identify potentially suitable applicants for future temporary employment opportunites. If deemed suitable your details will remain in the expression of intetrest pool for a period of ten (10) months, and you may be contracted further by Metro South Health (MSH) at the time an opportunity arises matching your qualifications/experience. MSH may request your particpation in other recuitment selection processes (eg: interview, reference checks and pre-employment checks) to further determine suitability for appointment to a specific position.
Please note:
- Submission of an EOI is not a guarantee that you will be offered employment with MSH
- By submitting an EOI, you will not automatically be considered for advertised vacancies. If you wish to be considered for a specific advertised vacancy at MSH, please submit your application for the relevant vacancy via the Smart Jobs.
- The EOI process is just one avenue of seeking employment with MSH, and your application will remain current for 10 months.
As a Senior House Officer in the Emergency Department, you will deliver patient-centred care by:
- Assessing patients and managing investigations and treatment under supervision
- Communicating effectively with clinicians, patients and carers
- Maintaining accurate documentation and professional standards
- Contributing to education, safe care and quality improvement
About you:
Motivated and compassionate medical professional with:
- MBBS (or equivalent) eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia
- Strong clinical judgement, communication and teamwork skills
- Effective time management and ability to prioritise in a busy ED
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional, patient-centred care
