Your new role:

This is a unique opportunity to lead and deliver strategic initiatives that improve musculoskeletal disorder (MSD) outcomes for staff, patients and services across Metro South Health. You will:

  • Lead the planning, implementation and evaluation of MSD prevention and ergonomic improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders to drive cultural and operational change
  • Provide expert clinical advice to support safe patient handling and risk mitigation strategies
  • Apply project management and service redesign principles to deliver measurable outcomes

About you:

You are an experienced allied health professional with a passion for safety, innovation and system-wide improvement in healthcare. You have:

  • Demonstrated experience in project management, service improvement and clinical innovation
  • Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and change management skills
  • High-level clinical knowledge in MSD prevention, ergonomics or risk mitigation
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes

About the Employee Health Safety and Wellbeing Team

Employee Health Safety and Wellbeing, part of Human Resources, provides services to support MSH employees delivering healthcare safety, with a focus on staff wellbeing.  The role sits within the Safety Systems Implementation Team and professionally reports to the relevant lead.
