Biloela Hospital is a lively 20-bed hub where big care happens in a modest but mighty setting. Whether you are an inpatient or outpatient, it's an emergency or a routine visit, we have got you covered.

Packed with top-notch services, including general medical and surgical care, two shiny acute resuscitation bays, and a dedicated treatment area where life-saving magic happens – that's just the start!  We also offer a whole range of support services that keep our community healthy and happy, from Radiology and Pharmacy to Immunisation, Child Health, Mental Health, and even services for Alcohol and Other Drugs (just to name a few!). It's a busy, friendly place all wrapped up in the charm of regional Queensland.

About the role:

Think of a Nurse Grade 4 as the superstar Enrolled Nurse with some serious skills up their sleeve! You will be the go-to support for our Registered Nurse and Midwife team, helping deliver care that's all about the person in front of you.

It's a role where you get to combine hands-on care with critical thinking, reflecting on your practice and collaborating with a friendly, driven team to keep everyone's health on point. Follow clear guidelines and protocols — but don't worry, it's all about working smart, safe, and with heart. Plus, you'll be on a lifelong learning adventure, constantly leveling up your skills and helping others do the same. It's a fun, rewarding gig where you can really make a difference, all while growing your career in a supportive regional community.

About you:

  • Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) is an absolute must;
  • Your eager to keep growing, always staying on top of the latest in nursing practice, and enjoy sharing your knowledge to lift others up;
  • Strong communication skills are essential and second nature, whether you're chatting with the healthcare team, connecting with patients and their families, or working with visitors and other agencies;
  • And finally, but not at all least, you are enthusiastic, engaged, and ready to be part of a lively team in a regional community that values your skills.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $97,070 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $40.43 - $42.90 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
