What you'll do
In this role you will:
- Provide biomedical engineering services to support the safe use and management of healthcare technology
- Perform maintenance, repairs, installation and testing of medical equipment
- Provide technical advice and engineering support to clinical and operational staff
- Assist with the evaluation, procurement and commissioning of healthcare technology
- Support incident investigations, risk assessments and quality improvement activities
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders across Queensland Health
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Holds a recognised four-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Biomedical or related discipline) recognised by Engineers Australia
- Is eligible for or working towards professional registration (RPEQ)
- Has experience or knowledge in biomedical engineering or healthcare technology
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Communicates effectively and works well in a team environment
