What you'll do
In this role you will:
- Lead and supervise a team delivering specialised organic chemistry testing services
- Oversee complex chemical analysis using advanced analytical techniques and instrumentation
- Provide high-level scientific and technical advice to stakeholders
- Review and report analytical results, quality control and method validation
- Lead research, method development and continuous improvement initiatives
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Holds a Bachelor of Science with a major in Chemistry (postgraduate qualifications highly regarded)
- Has extensive experience in organic chemical analysis and mass spectrometry techniques
- Demonstrates leadership and experience managing scientific teams
- Has experience with laboratory quality systems and accreditation standards
- Has strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
