Are you an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist ready to step into a senior role? We are seeking a Senior Scientist Anatomical Pathology to perform complex histology and immunohistochemistry testing, provide technical advice and support training and quality activities. This role is based at The Prince Charles Hospital Laboratory and plays an important role in delivering high-quality diagnostic pathology services that support patient care.

What you'll do
In this role you will:
- Perform and validate complex histological and immunohistochemical investigations
- Provide clinical and technical advice to staff and stakeholders
- Lead training, education and development of team members
- Contribute to quality improvement and laboratory processes
- Assist with troubleshooting instrumentation and technical issues
- Support laboratory accreditation and quality systems
About you
We are searching for someone who:
- Holds a Bachelor of Applied Science or equivalent in a relevant field
- Has significant experience in Anatomical Pathology, particularly histology
- Demonstrates leadership and experience training or mentoring staff
- Has experience with laboratory quality systems and accreditation standards
- Has strong problem-solving and communication skills
