About the role
As an Administrative Officer within Medical Records, you'll be part of a fast-paced Clinical Support Unit supporting the accurate management, movement and security of patient information. Your work will directly contribute to patient safety, continuity of care and the smooth operation of hospital services.
- Accurately process, track, store and transport patient medical records to ensure timely access for clinical teams.
- Maintain strict confidentiality while handling sensitive patient information and working across hospital departments.
- Support administrative operations including reception duties, data entry, scanning and system use across Queensland Health platforms.
- Contribute to patient safety and service improvement by following policies, participating in quality initiatives and supporting clinical governance frameworks.

Requirements
- Appointee will be required to work day shifts with varied start times (between 7am, 730am and 8am) as scheduled in the roster provided.
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
- A period of probation may apply.
