We're excited to welcome an  Administration Officer to our Children and Adolescent Inpatient Unit.

The Administration Officer provides a high level of confidential administrative support for the  Unit within Women's and Children's services, Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service. This position is a prime point of contact for internal communication on a daily basis and externally with various departments and agencies.

The position is required to participate in a shift pattern, 7 day per week roster and will be required to complete the duties associated within a busy inpatient unit.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • This position requires you to adhere to National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards and the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service Safe Care Framework, which has been developed in collaboration with staff, consumers and key stakeholders to enable our vision of health and wellbeing through person-centred care.
  • Exercise judgement when necessary to solve immediate problems in situations where precedents have not been set and procedures not defined.
  • Effectively communicate with customers and demonstrate understanding, empathy, patience and a positive service focus.
  • Provide advice and support in the admission and discharge planning process for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients presenting to the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.

Remuneration value up to $62 203 p.a, comprising salary rates $39.98 - $44.46 p.h., (part time, 29 hrs p.f. and 47 hrs p.f. ), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (AO3) (part time positions available, one 29 hrs p.f. and one 47 hrs p.f.).
