Role details
The Mackay Base Hospital Business Administration Support Services Team is seeking applications for an Administration Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
To undertake a diverse range of confidential, detailed administrative support services to ensure the Divisions deliver on their delegated financial accountabilities. This role will work primarily with the Senior Business Manager for the provision dedicated financial support to Divisional Business Managers for; detailed audit and processing of external agency and contract invoicing, end of month accrual preparations and other financial related monitoring and reporting as directed.
The role forms a critical support function for tasks related to end of month financial activities and operationalising sustainability initiatives on behalf of the Business Managers. It is a unique role that will be exposed to all the Divisions within the Operations portfolio.
About the Team
Business Administration Support Services (BASS) provides a mechanism to support various work units within the Mackay Hospital and Health Service with appropriately skilled administration staff to backfill administration positions to meet service delivery needs. This portfolio reports directly to the Senior Business Manager for Operations who is the professional line manager for the Business Managers within all the Operations Portfolio. This includes Medical, Surgical, Women's and Children's Services and Mental Health and AODS.
