Join our Cancer Care Services where we provide Medical Oncology, Haematology, Radiation consultations, Palliative Care, infusions and supportive therapies, with links to other services.

About the role:

Lead, care, make a difference – Cancer Care needs you!

Ready to take your clinical skills to the next level? As a Clinical Nurse in Cancer Care, you'll be the go-to expert, supporting patients, families, and your team with compassion, confidence, and clinical know-how.

From coordinating complex care to guiding seamless handovers, you'll make sure every patient receives individualised, top-quality care. You'll also champion the service, advocate for patients, and build strong connections with clinicians and community partners.

The position is also a point of contact for those affected by cancer, clinicians and support staff offering a service and to manage and coordinate issues as they arise. They will promote the service internally and externally with key stakeholders. In addition, they will be an advocate for those affected by cancer to assist in improving their health and wellbeing and overall quality of life.

About you:

The key to succeed in this role?

  • Hold current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate.
  • While not mandatory, obtaining a post graduate qualification in cancer care would be desirable.
  • While not mandatory, a minimum 5 years clinical experience in oncology/haematology/palliative care is highly desirable.

What we offer:

Total remuneration value of up to $114,405 p.a. is comprised of:

  • An hourly rate between $56.08 - $60.05 p.h.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
