About your opportunity:
The Administration Officer provides high quality administrative support to a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate service delivery within the Charters Towers Health Service. The position works independently to respond to enquiries, provide information and assistance to staff, patients and visitors while maintaining confidentiality.
The primary location of the position is in medical records and you may be placed into other administration officer roles in the facility. Key components of the role include front of house reception, switchboard, uploading of patient information into electronic medical records, booking of appointments, updating patient details, data entry and other administrative duties as directed.
This position is located in Charters Towers.

Competitive salary and benefits:
We offer attractive remuneration packages and generous leave entitlements.
- Salary range: $39.98 to $44.46 p.h. (AO3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
Requirements:
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
