Role details
The Child Development Service at the Carlyle Community Health Centre is seeking applications for a Senior Allied Health Clinician to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
The CDS Allied Health Clinician – Senior demonstrates high level of knowledge, skills and experience in the delivery of clinical child development services for children and their families as part of a multidisciplinary Allied Health team within Mackay HHS Paediatric Services.
It will be the responsibility of the role to provide clinical leadership for the multidisciplinary CDS team, delivering high-level clinical services including assessment, analysis, health specific intervention, and case management for children with complex development delays.
The role provides clinical practice supervision to less experienced clinicians, including education and training to elevate the team's competency and ensure that services are in line with the latest evidence-based practices and CDS objectives.
About the Team
The Child Development Service (CDS) provides transdisciplinary paediatric allied health assessment services to children with complex developmental needs in order to support families to build on their understanding of their child's developmental delay or disability. The CDS also assists families to understand the future supports and interventions required to support their child's current and anticipated future needs, supporting families to transition to relevant services such as early intervention and community programs. Community paediatric allied health services provide specialist input for children who present with a range of clinical, diagnosis and developmental presentations.
